Horwath Clark Whitehill has announced that its popular free Continued Professional Development (CPD) seminar will be held on November 9 in central Reading.
The seminar is part of a national CPD programme that Horwath Clark Whitehill offers across the UK.
Aimed at financial directors, the event will count towards annual CPD requirement whist keeping attendees up to date with current business tax legislation.
Topics to be covered include employee taxation, topical CGT items and VAT developments. In addition selected other changes from the 2010 Finance Act will be discussed.
The event will be chaired by Martyn Ingles who qualified as a chartered accountant in 1982 and has specialised in taxation ever since. A member of the ICAEW Tax Faculty committee and its vice-chairman, Ingles has also had articles published in the Tax Faculty TaxLine Technical Review and in “Taxation” magazine. He is also involved in the production of tax training videos for Legal Network Television as part of his work with the College of Law.
The seminar will run from 9am until 12.30pm, with a buffet lunch and networking opportunity to follow.
A limited amount of free parking is available on request.
