Reading: Forbury Hotel battles on
The Forbury Hotel in Reading is now the only hotel owned by Andrew Davis that’s not in administration or sold off.
The founder of the Von Essen group at one time owned more than 30 hotels around the country.
But, following the decision to place Llangoed Hall into administration, with PwC appointed adminsitrators of the Welsh property, the 23-bedroom Forbury Hotel is the only hotel still run by Davis.
While a number of Von Essen hotels were placed in administration in April, the Forbury was one property kept out of the process.
