Field Seymour Parkes has announced the appointment of the highly regarded Jacqueline McDermott as a partner and head of its employment team.

McDermott has joined FSP from Pitmans where she has been a partner for four and a half years. She has extensive experience in all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law.

McDermott has a particularly strong track record in acting for respondents in tribunal claims, advising on the appointment and termination of employment of senior executives, the enforcement of restrictive covenants and confidentiality obligations as well as employment related aspects of business reorganisations, corporate transactions and outsourcing arrangements.

She is a member of the Employment Lawyer's Association and regularly writes articles on employment matters.
