Thames Valley: Pitmans boosts team with new partners
Law firm Pitmans LLP has increased its number of partners with the arrival of Denise Fawcett.
Fawcett joins from Squire Sanders Hammonds where she was a senior associate. She also spent a year on secondment to the Pensions Regulator. She will be working alongside partners Suzanne Brooker, Nicola Kirk and David Archer, advising insolvency practitioners, financiers, corporates and trustees on all aspects of corporate insolvency, transactions and related pensions issues.
At the same time,the firm has announced three promotions to partner for Alan Davies in its Defendant Insurance team along with Nigel Dewar-Gibb in its Media and Entertainment team and Sally Britton in the Intellectual Property department. Both Britton and Dewar-Gibb form part of the company’s sports and entertainment division Pitmans SK Sports and Entertainment LLP.
Commenting on the new arrival and promotions, managing partner Christopher Avery said: “This now increases the number of Pitmans partners to 30 which allows us to have dedicated expertise across the wide-ranging legal sector.
