Banbury: Ellacotts boosts corporate team

04/11/2011

Ellacotts LLP, the Banbury-based accountancy firm and business advisors, continues to enhance its corporate specialisation and expertise, serving the Oxford and Oxfordshire business community, with the appointment of David Stevens, to the role of corporate services partner, in early November 2011.

Stevens has a first-class track record of success gained with large national and international practices, and joins Ellacotts from BDO LLP, Birmingham, having maintained a portfolio of prestigious clients, including many household names. Prior to BDO, Stevens worked for Ernst & Young LLP, including a two-year secondment to its Paris office.

Peter Clayton, head of Ellacotts’ Corporate Services team, said the appointment demonstrated the firm’s commitment to exceptional client service and support of the Oxfordshire and regional business community.

He said: “This is a significant time for Ellacotts as we look to build upon our reputation for excellence and capability in the field of corporate services across the region and David’s joining reinforces our belief that in hiring the best we can deliver the best and add real value to our offering for existing and future clients.”

Stevens’ appointment comes soon after the September take on of a record number of five trainees to the firm, in its Tax, Agriculture & Property and Corporate/SME departments.
