Poole: Harbour Heights appoints new GM

Independent family-owned FJB Hotels Group has announced the appointment of David Knight as general manager at the AA four-star Harbour Heights Hotel in Poole, Dorset.

With more than 15 years’ experience in the hotel and hospitality industry, Knight returns to the FJB Hotels Group having previously worked at The Haven Hotel as Food and Beverage Manager between 2006 and 2009. His most recent position was at the Christchurch Harbour Hotel, where he was deputy general manager for two years.

In his new role, Knight will head a 40-strong team at the 38-room Harbour Heights Hotel and his main responsibilities will include overseeing all aspects of the hotel operations including guest services, front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, catering, team building and increasing sales.
