Reading: HSBC appoints corporate banking manager

02 Sep 2010

Scott Kenward moves across from commercial banking team.

HSBC has appointed Scott Kenward as an additional corporate banking manager at its Thames Valley Corporate Banking Centre, based in Reading, to support the continuing growth of its business.

Kenward moves from HSBC’s Commercial Banking team in the region and will join the bank’s 40-strong Corporate Banking team, led by Mark Haines.

In his new role, Kenward will take responsibility for managing and developing existing and new relationships with customers whose businesses have a turnover in excess of £25 million. He will work with customers and prospective clients to advise on financial solutions, so as to assist them in the achievement of their strategic objectives.

Mark Haines, HSBC Head of Corporate Banking in the Thames Valley, said: “I am delighted that Scott will be working with the team to enhance the strong relationships HSBC has built in the region. Scott’s knowledge and experience of working with businesses in the Thames Valley, since joining the bank in 2005, will be a real benefit for our customers and for us.”

HSBC Corporate Banking was recently named ‘Bank of the Year’ in the Thames Valley and Solent regions in The Business Magazine's Deal Awards 2010.
