NVM Private Equity (NVM) has announced the appointment of Dominic Ely as part of its regional investment team.
Ely has over 12 years UK mid-market investment experience so will be a valuable addition to the team. In his new role he will be responsible for generating new deals and managing NVM’s portfolio in the South of England.
Ely spent five years at Investec Bank UK plc, where he established the UK private equity team and advisory service. At Investec he led a number of deals, including the £8 million management buyout of Medicals Direct Group.
Prior to this he was head of media investment at ISIS Equity Partners where he worked from 1999 completing a range of deals, including Fat Face, Searchspace, AIMS and RLA Media.
Commenting on Ely’s appointment, Martin Green, managing director, said: “We are delighted to welcome Dominic to the investment team at NVM. He brings a long successful track record of investing in the region and will further strengthen our team in the South.”
