Gavin Crawford has been promoted to partner within the assurance practice at PwC’s Thames Valley practice in Reading – one of several promotions across the office.
Crawford joined the firm in 1998 as a manager, working in the Growing Business Group in the Reading office. As an audit director, Crawford has played a pivotal role in lifting the profile of the firm in the entrepreneurial business and private company market place across the Thames Valley and will continue to do so in his new role as partner.
Crawford’s admission to the partnership, alongside three additional directors, 23 manager and 16 senior manager promotions, and new partners in both the public sector practice and business recovery service offerings, are reflective of the firm’s strategy to build the broadest and deepest range of specialists across the two Thames Valley offices based in Reading and Uxbridge.
Gavin Crawford, partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP Thames Valley, commented: “We’ve been working hard to build on our service offerings to private companies across the Thames Valley, and increasing the number of partner-led teams in this market demonstrates our commitment to continue to develop in this space. We are dedicated to growing our business in the region, offering the highest level of expertise and experience to local businesses.”
Miles Saunders, office senior partner at the firm's Thames Valley office, commented: “I am delighted to welcome Gavin to the partnership and would like congratulate all staff who have been promoted. Across the Thames Valley and the wider firm we continue to recruit and promote talent focused on delivering outstanding service based on our clients’ needs. We are fortunate to be able to recruit and retain the best talent in what remain uncertain and challenging economic conditions.”
