01 Sep 2010

Food service firm takes lease at IQ site.

SEGRO – Europe’s leading provider of flexible business space – is set to welcome a new customer at IQ Farnborough, its urban mixed-use business environment.

Food service firm ARAMARK has taken a 10-year lease for the second floor office space at 250 Fowler Avenue, which was designed by renowned architects, Allies and Morrison. The company, which employs more than 12,500 people in the UK, will occupy a space of just under 9,500 sq ft, situated at the heart of IQ Farnborough.

Kate Dean, director of SEGRO’s offices team in the Thames Valley, said: “This letting reflects the demand for high quality business space which is encouraging not only for IQ Farnborough, but for the region. We are seeing increasing demand for space at IQ Farnborough and have a waiting list for occupancy at The Hub.

“We’re currently developing the masterplan for the next phase of growth at IQ Farnborough and will be submitting planning for around 20,000 sq ft later this month.”

IQ Farnborough boasts a four-star De Vere hotel and health club, a children’s day care nursery, heritage centre and Aviators cafĂ©.
