Acting on behalf of the Ellis Campbell Group, national commercial property consultancy, Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH), and joint agents Wadham & Isherwood (Farnham), have sold 2.5 acres of prime development land at Farnham, Surrey.
The site at the Coxbridge Business Park, which adjoins the A31 on the western edge of Farnham, has been sold to Wernick Group off a quoting price of £750,000 per acre. The land, which has planning consent for industrial development, forms part of Wernick Group’s programme of freehold acquisitions. Wernick supplies a range of factory-built portable and modular buildings to a range of clients including the building trade and local authorities, and will use this site for storage, offices and workshop space. Its acquisition of land in Farnham will replace its current Chobham site.
Charles Wood, director at LSH’s Guildford office, commented: “Coxbridge Business Park is already part developed, with the fully let Enterprise Centre and Endeavour Place totalling circa 50,000 sq ft and further land sold for development. This latest land sale will see the 13 acre park really take shape, helping it to become a key business location in the region. A further 1 acre plot is currently under offer which will leave only around 3 acres left, offering an opportunity for purchasers to acquire land in an area where land is generally in short supply. Potential owner occupiers can purchase land and build to their specific requirements.”
