Reading: Pegasystems moves to new European HQ

21/06/2011

Pegasystems Inc, the leader in business process management (BPM) and software for customer centricity, has moved to a prestigious new address at One Reading Central, a move that will allow the company to expand significantly as well as provide space for its first European training centre.

Pegasystems software solutions help organisations drive revenue growth, enhance customer experience, and improve operational efficiency. The company is the third fastest growing technology company in the world and the eighth fastest growing company overall (Source: Fortune Magazine, 2010).

Having outgrown its previous office at Apex Plaza, the company scoured the Thames Valley to find top quality office and decided to keep its European headquarters in Reading.

Alan Trefler, founder and CEO of Pegasystems, commented: “We’re really excited to have found an outstanding facility in an excellent location. We’ve been planning this move for some time now, and it demonstrates our huge commitment to the region. The new office provides a high quality environment for staff and clients, offering flexible accommodations for continued growth. One Reading Central will also house our first education centre for Europe – attracting colleagues, clients and partners from across the globe.”

The official office opening took place on Monday June 20 with MP Rob Wilson who represents Reading East there to "kick off" the proceedings.

Wilson said: “This move is further endorsement of Reading’s status as the town of choice for technology companies like Pegasystems. Not only does the move bring welcome new investment to the area, but also the company’s expansion plans will create new jobs, which will impact positively on a number of other local businesses.”
