The Company
Elcot Publications is a limited company. The company was established in September 1993 and its principal business is publishing.
Elcot Publications was set up in September 1993 because there was a gap in the Thames Valley market for a quality publication that accurately reported the major business events in the area, that profiled the leading businessmen and women, and that acted as a platform for businesses to talk to each other.
Publications
Elcot Publications publishes The Business Magazine, an independent magazine for directors and senior business executives throughout the South. There are three editions: Thames Valley, Solent/South Central, and Gatwick. Ten issues a year are published (there are joint issues in December/January and in July/August) of the Thames Valley, Solent and Gatwick editions.
The magazine combines quality editorial content and design with advertising. Regular editorial features cover Finance, Law, Accountancy, Technology, Manufacturing, Commercial Property, People, Motoring, etc.
The magazine is a business-to-business publication used in a pro-active way by companies eager to find out what is happening in their locality and to follow up important sales, marketing and promotional leads that lie within its pages. Research shows that an average of 3 people read every copy, equalling a total readership of more than 91,000 across the South.
Although the magazine carries a £2.50 cover price, it is distributed free of charge (to the reader) by Royal Mail Presstream direct to the desks of its readers every month. In addition, copies of the magazine are available each month in top hotels, business centres and at Southampton International Airport.
