Ascot: Royal Berkshire appoints new general manager
Royal Berkshire, an Exclusive group venue in Ascot, has appointed Andrew Colley as general manager.
Colley brings with him a wealth of experience from his previous general manager roles at The Chesterfield Mayfair, Ramada Hyde Park Hotel, Audleys Wood Hotel, and the East Sussex National Hotel, spanning in total 16 years of hotel and venue management experience. He is widely regarded as a conference, meetings and events specialist.
Speaking of the appointment, Danny Pecorelli, managing director of Exclusive Hotels and Venues, commented: “Given Andrew’s vast experience in hotel and venue management; passion for hospitality; and expertise in the conference, meetings and events sector, he is perfectly placed to lead the venue forward in 2015. Following the recent refurbishments at the venue, this is an exciting time for the Royal Berkshire and we are thrilled to have Andrew at the helm.”
Colley added: “I am honoured to be joining the Exclusive Hotels and Venues family. As someone who lives locally, I have been an admirer of the Royal Berkshire for years and am thrilled to have become a part of this magnificent venue.”
