Berkshire: Spitfire expands to the southern counties
Developer of bespoke new homes Spitfire has opened a southern regional office to support its growth in the home counties. Located in Winkfield, Berkshire, the new office will help Spitfire further expand its activities in the south, focusing on premium sites in good locations in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey and Hertfordshire.
Headquartered in Coleshill, Warwickshire, the company is less than five years old but has already established a strong reputation as a bespoke house builder, and the business is growing rapidly with turnover forecast to double to £50 million in 2015.
The new Berkshire office has been set up by Richard Page, sales and marketing director, and Andy Harvey, land director.
Harvey commented: “As a premium developer, it is undeniable that there is a concentration of desirable locations in the South East which has been a major factor in choosing this area to focus the growth of the business. We choose only the best locations for our developments, usually in attractive villages or historic towns, yet with good communications and access to services. We are now actively pursuing the acquisition of suitable sites and we have several exciting opportunities in the pipeline, including fabulous sites already under construction in Ascot and Henley, where we will be selling before the end of 2015.”
Page commented: “Spitfire is a new name here, but the company is packed with experienced property professionals who are passionate about creating best-in-class developments.”
Recent schemes by Spitfire include The Pines in Ascot, Hall Farm Estate in Knowle and The Fairways in Little Aston near Sutton Coldfield.
