Bournemouth: BH Live retains premier standard industry accreditation at south coast venues
Social enterprise and UK venue operator BH Live has once again met the criteria for Hospitality Assured’s Premier Standard for Business and Service Excellence at Bournemouth International Centre and Bournemouth Pavilion, its conference, exhibition and entertainment venues in Bournemouth.
This follows an independent assessment of performance in customer research, service, business leadership, planning, training and development, operational planning and execution, service delivery, service recovery and customer service improvement.
Hospitality Assured is the quality standard created by the Institute of Hospitality specifically for customer-facing businesses. Its process encourages businesses to look at their own operation from the customer’s perspective and see where improvements could and should be made to benefit the business and its customers. This is done by looking at how the businesses score against the challenging criteria of the nine-step standard.
BH Live achieved a higher score than when it was assessed in 2013 and says it is continuing its quest to achieve even higher standards of excellence in the future.
BH Live's director of venues, Pat Coyne, said: "We are in the experience business, regularly hosting large-scale events to entertain and inform thousands of guests, delegates and members of the public.
"Our success, and Hospitality Assured's accreditation, is the result of listening to our customers, encouraging their feedback and using it to deliver consistently outstanding audience and delegate experiences."
Bournemouth International Centre is a conference, exhibition, entertainment and hospitality venue, with licensed capacity for up to 10,000 visitors. Bournemouth Pavilion is a Grade II listed Art Deco venue with a 1500-seat theatre and full-sized ballroom, hosting shows throughout the year. It also provides facilities for running corporate presentations, product launches, and smaller conferences and exhibitions.
