Bracknell: Greenwood attracts Micron Europe as first tenant
Savills Investment Management and Canmoor, advised jointly by Savills, Friar Commercial and DTRE, have let the first office suite at the newly refurbished Greenwood in Bracknell to Micron Europe and has placed a further 16,500 sq ft under offer to two separate parties.
The global leader in the semiconductor industry has agreed to a new lease for 7,787 sq ft on part of the third floor at the front of the building, paying an annual rent of £163,527, equating to £21 per sq ft.
The comprehensively refurbished 69,741 sq ft office building fronting London Road is currently undergoing a rebranding that will see a new 1,250 sq ft contemporary urban café opening on August 7 to co-inside with Micron’s occupation. In addition, table-tennis facilities have been introduced in the garden courtyard to compliment the extensive shower facilities and secure cycle storage already provided in the basement, as tenants increasingly require access to work/life balance.
Rob Pearson, associate in the South East office agency team at Savills, commented: “Situated in Bracknell town centre, Greenwood offers premium office accommodation in a popular Thames Valley location. The additional amenities, twinned with the upcoming completion of the long anticipated Lexicon retail destination, has directly resulted in considerable interest in the remaining available space.”
Micron Europe was advised by Cushman & Wakefield.
