Buckinghamshire: The Fish Partnership makes key promotion
Chartered accountants The Fish Partnership has promoted a senior member of staff, Denise Eyles, to partner status. Eyles has made the step up from tax manager at the firm which is based in Loudwater, High Wycombe.
She discovered her love of tax when studying for the Chartered exams and during a stint of secondment to the tax department as part of her Chartered training contract. As a result, she transferred to a purely tax role in 1991 while still part-qualified and has never looked back. She qualified as a chartered accountant in 1992.
Eyles has spent a number of years in the tax department managing a portfolio of some 450 clients and deals, with all their arising tax issues, and providing specialist advice to partners and other members of staff.
On her promotion she said: “I’m delighted to accept the offer of a partnership role and am looking forward to all of the new challenges and opportunities ahead.”
Martin Sheehy, managing partner at The Fish Partnership, said: “We are delighted to promote Denise to the role of partner. She has been an instrumental figure in the expansion and success of the firm over the past couple of years. She is an extremely experienced accountancy professional who will ensure that the firm continues to go from strength to strength.”
Paul Laird, fellow partner at Fish, said: “Denise has been an influential figure in the tax department, helping the tax team’s client base grow significantly. She will make an excellent partner and I congratulate her on her promotion.”
