Corporate finance and insolvency firm Fanshawe Lofts has announced its acquisition by Begbies Traynor Group, a leading provider of specialist professional services, with a network of offices across the UK.
Southampton-based Fanshawe Lofts specialises in personal and business insolvency work as well as corporate finance led by Rosemary Penn-Newman.
The acquisition is the latest move in a highly successful programme of expansion by the AIM listed business which specialises in the areas of finance, recovery, investigation, risk management and specialist financial advice.
It turns over in excess of £50 million and employs more than 600 people from a network of 40 regional offices based across the UK. Their client base includes individuals, owner-managed businesses, professional intermediaries, major financial institutions and quoted businesses. Antony Fanshawe, senior partner at Fanshawe Lofts, said: “The acquisition by Begbies Traynor Group presented a whole host of opportunities for us and we are delighted to be joining the team currently headed by Julie Palmer and Martin Pearson. The firm is an ideal complementary fit in terms of the services they offer, their ethos and their geographical structure.” |
