Dorset: Steele Raymond strengthens team with Simone Ritchie
Commercial law firm Steele Raymond LLP has appointed new senior associate Simone Ritchie.
Ritchie will join the Dorset-based firm’s top-tier-rated dispute resolution team, bringing with her a broad range of property litigation experience.
She is returning to her home town of Bournemouth having spent her career to date in Manchester, where she studied at the University of Manchester and Manchester Business School.
Since qualifying as a solicitor, she has amassed a significant range of experience at DWF LLP and more recently Eversheds LLP.
Her particular interests are dilapidations, development disputes, ratings disputes, arbitration and expert determination claims. Ritchie also deals with professional negligence claims, injunction proceedings (particularly in relation to breach of covenant, infringement of easements, nuisance and rights of way), contested probate issues concerning property and agricultural disputes.
She also frequently speaks at external seminars and conferences, having regularly been asked to provide training to RICS, local councils and to the Association of Chief Estates Surveyors.
Chairman Tim Stone commented: "Steele Raymond continues to be at the heart of commercial law in Dorset. We have very ambitious growth plans to further underline our market leading position, so we’re delighted to be welcoming someone of Simone’s calibre to the team.”
