Hampshire: De Vere Venues launches tree house package for teambuilding
De Vere Venues, leading provider of meeting, training, conference and events space, has created a new tree house team building package at De Vere Venues New Place, Hampshire, designed to harness the psychological and physiological benefits of the great outdoors, and to inspire big thinking under the blue skies of the Solent.
The package, designed for either small meetings or as an added break-out solution for larger events, includes access to New Place’s eight-delegate tree-top informal meeting room, an inspired location for creative thinking, as well as the choice of several country-pursuit themed team-building exercises, ranging from duck herding to high-octane orienteering exercises.
Available on a day rate or as a residential package, delegates also have access to the property’s health and leisure club, and contemporary restaurant and stylish Luyten’s Bar, both of which provide the perfect back drop for after-hours entertainment.
Mark Sampson, general manager of De Vere Venues New Place, commented: ‘’Research has proven that the simple process of breathing in the fresh air and taking in more oxygen to the brain significantly improves productivity, creativity and increases the production of serotonin, the ‘happy’ brain chemical, directly contributing to more dynamic and effective meetings.
“In addition, time spent around greenery has been shown to reduce the stress hormone, lower blood pressure and increase the ability to focus, which means delegates utilising our tree house package should leave feeling refreshed, revitalised and re-focused.’’
