Hampshire: Radweb designs same-day key transfer to enhance property services
Property services company Access2View has commissioned the design of a same-day key transfer service for tenants and landlords or agents. The service links in with UPS and automatically creates collections using the UPS API.
Hampshire-based web development agency Radweb was tasked with building the key transfer service to allow for seamless and secure key collection on the same day.
Managing director Steve Rad said: “Access2View’s managing director Jim Johnston originally got in touch with us because of the work we had done on InventoryBase, the property inventory and inspection reporting software app. The property key transfer service was identified as a way to solve how online agents get the house keys to someone moving in."
Johnston commented: “Managing a remote property can require a lot of organisation. At Access2View we’re trying to make that process as easy for the agent as possible.
“For the key transfer the resident leaving the property drops the keys at a collection point within half a mile of the property and is given a tracking code so they are able to check when the keys are received. Whoever is moving in must prove their identification before the agent will release the key to the new occupant.”
