Henley-on-Thames: HMT advises on disposal of QTR to Palletforce
HMT, led by partner Mark Lucas with director Holly Bedford-Bell and associate director Matthew Gordon-Smith, advised the shareholders of QTR Transport (QTR) on the disposal of the business to Palletforce for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 1980 by Paul White, QTR is based in Newbury and Reading and operates throughout the British Isles. The business provides overall distribution solutions and can operate over 100,000 sq ft of warehousing. QTR’s client base includes blue-chip companies as well as smaller businesses.
Palletforce is an award-winning distribution network for small and large goods across the UK and Europe, with over 100 UK depots and 90 network members.
This is the fourth deal that HMT has recently advised on in the logistics sector following the MBOs of ILG, Dalepak, and Whistl (which was awarded Deal of the Year at the 2016 Thames Valley Deal Awards).
