Henley-on-Thames: HMT advises Sovereign on MBO of Dalepak

Henley-based HMT, led by partner Andrew Thomson, director Peter Wear and manager Antonia Fernandez, has undertaken financial due diligence of Northampton-based logistics group Dalepak in respect of the management buyout funded by private equity firm Sovereign Capital Partners and with senior debt provided by Crescent Capital.

Founded in 1991, Dalepak delivers a portfolio of seamlessly-integrated warehousing, distribution, packing, internet-fulfilment and freight-forwarding services. Operating from four warehouse centres across Northampton, it is currently the second fastest growing business in Northamptonshire.

Thomson commented: “The strong and profitable growth historically enjoyed by the business and ‘blue-chip’ customer base provided a solid platform which allowed the new management team to realize its exciting growth plans.”
