Marlow: The Botanist beds into its new home
The Botanist has opened its doors in Marlow bringing locals and businesses alike an ideal venue for entertaining throughout the Christmas season and thereafter.
The bar and restaurant will be open from noon to midnight each day and will serve botanical cocktails, craft beers and ales, along with deli and rotisserie-inspired food.
There will also be live music every evening over the festive season offering a variation of new and old, enthusiastically delivered on piano, guitar and vocals.
At 48 West Street, the building is an impressive take on the old and the new, coupling Victorian and modern externals with striking yet cosy interiors. The venue offers room across the restaurant and bar areas for over 180 guests, and prides itself on being unlike anything else in the town’s vibrant scene. With heated outdoor gardens and a cosy indoor fire pit to bring the outdoors in, a spokesperson for the venue says it is destined to become an institution.
The Botanist forms part of The New World Trading Company which celebrated a double win at The Publican Awards national ceremony earlier this year.
Chris Hill, managing director of The New World Trading Company, said: “We are excited to be opening The Botanist in a community which has such a passion for food and drink. We are looking forward to immersing ourselves in town life.”
