New Forest: Go-ahead granted for treetop developments

Planning and design consultancy Terence O'Rourke is celebrating the New Year with the go-ahead for two high-profile developments. The successful proposals consist of two new luxury treehouses for world-renowned New Forest hotel Chewton Glen and a major residential and commercial development in Colchester.

This means Chewton Glen will soon be adding two more suites to its idyllic treehouses with even greater exclusivity and splendour than the current suites. They will include terraces and hot tubs, with stunning valley views from a tree canopy.

Already having a variety of treehouse suites on-site helped pave the way for planners to grant permission – reinforcing the hotel’s reputation as a place of opulence that attracts high-quality clientele.
