Oxford: Berry Recruitment broadens its sights

Berry Recruitment has appointed Zoe Ellis, its Oxford branch manager, to national strategic sales manager with a brief to develop the commercial side of the business across its 32 locations in England and Wales.

Ellis has managed Berry Recruitment in Oxford for nine years with a particular focus on recruiting in the office and finance sectors.

She said: “I am aiming to take long-term contacts that we have worked with regionally and develop them on a national level. The Oxford branch has recently won an exclusive contract with South West Ambulance Service to supply permanent staff and there is huge potential for similar arrangements.”

Shaun Ashley will replace her as manager of Berry Recruitment Oxford. He has experience in the commercial, industrial and catering sectors.

Spencer Berry, business development director, said: “Recruiting Shaun as our new manager in Oxford has led to a broadening of the branch’s specialities, which will take advantage of that region’s improving economy.”

BRG recently announced that it expected turnover in 2016 to exceed £70 million.
