Oxford: Freeths goes from strength to strength
The Oxford office of Freeths LLP (formally known as Henmans Freeth) has had a stellar financial year. It has achieved a turnover in excess of £10.5 million for the first time in the office’s history, a 14.37% increase from 2015, making it the office’s most successful year to date.
Since the start of the 2015/16 financial year, the firm has recruited 23 new employees into its various legal departments and it is currently waiting to welcome three more.
Sarah Foster, managing partner at the Oxford Office, said: “These successful financial results were only achieved by all members of staff putting in a great deal of hard work and commitment over the past 12 months. Our culture is very much client centric. We really work hard to deliver the results our clients want.”
Nationally, Freeths is a top-60 UK law firm with announced financial figures of £63.8m. It is ranked in the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to work for, and has been recognised for its diversity with two new awards: the UK Diversity Legal Awards gave it the title of ‘Firm of the Year’, and Stonewall recognised the firm as a Diversity Champion.
