Poole: C4L links with Virtustream to create cloud partnership

C4L, the Poole-based colocation, connectivity, cloud and Communications specialists, has signed a partnership arrangement with Virtustream Inc, the leading enterprise-class cloud software & services provider.

The partnership gives C4L the opportunity to add a set of advanced cloud offers to expand its portfolio and enables Virtustream to provide existing and new customers improved access to its data centres and cloud platform using C4L’s newly launched CoreTX MPLS network. In addition, C4L can now leverage Virtustream’s data centres, service provider partners and xStream cloud platform, both in the UK & internationally, fuelling its international growth plans.

Headquartered in the US, with four privately-owned data centres (DCs) across the UK and USA, Virtustream has high profile private and public sector clients around the world. Virtustream has selected C4L as UK colocation experts and is now an official C4L Partner Network Technology Partner. C4L will assist Virtustream by providing colocation and connectivity requirements to new clients and creating additional revenues across its DCs.

In turn, Virtustream to will extend and strengthen C4L’s current cloud offering to include enterprise-class cloud features such as enhanced security, compliance and mission-critical application support.
