Poole: Commercial Recycling lauches Canford Concrete
Today Poole-based Commercial Recycling launches Canford Concrete, a brand new ready-mixed recycled concrete supply service, which also aims to be offer the fastest 'drive-thru' collection of its kind.
This exciting new venture from Dorset’s leading independent waste management company is the result of months of planning and capital investment, and is expected to create new job opportunities.
The products retailed by Canford Concrete are created from blending cement with approved recycled and secondary aggregates that have been processed in Commercial Recycling’s own aggregate washing plant. The automated, instantaneous mixing process is conducted within the firm’s new concrete batching plant.
In addition to a convenient location and long opening hours, Canford Concrete also offers builders, construction companies and members of the public with a range of benefits, which include:
- instant on-the-spot mixing of many blends of concrete
- the ability to produce small and large quantities of concrete
- extremely fast turnaround, no waiting in long queues
- convenient collection site located behind Tower Park near Poole town centre
- opportunity to dispose of waste and or collect aggregates on the same site.
Commercial Recycling director Ian Mariner said: “This is a really exciting time for the company, the launch of Canford Concrete is the first major step in our strategy to become a more complete supplier to Dorset’s construction and building industry.
“Producing ready-mixed concrete from our own approved and British standard certified recycled aggregates means Commercial Recycling can help builders to recycle and reuse 100% of the inert waste they generate.
“There are many more initiatives being launched over the next six months including a new smaller multi-purpose vehicle that can transport and then easily move waste and products on-site through the lorry’s innovative remote control grab arm.”
