Vocational educator The Training Room, based at Poole, has secured a wealth of investment ensuring its continued growth in the career-led education sector.

The Training Room, founded in 2006, trains and educates students to a level required by its employer base enabling its graduates to enter the work place with an impressive 83% success rate of employment.

The recent management buyout(MBO) via a new holding group, Route2Work, brings investors Rakesh Bhasin, formerly CEO of Colt Technology Services, Philip Blackwell, an entrepreneur skilled in educational publishing and Piers Marmion, an expert in global human capital and technology, to the Training Room board.

The Training Room’s CEO, Andrew Powell, (pictured right) commented: "The MBO, the acquisition of a new board with international business pedigree, plus an injection of growth capital, highlights how committed the management team are to the success and future growth of the business.
We are working toward The Training Room becoming internationally recognised for the positive social and economic impact that it has on communities by opening up vocational education to everyone."

The demand for The Training Room’s offerings has grown along with the portfolio of education and the appetite from employers and
corporate partners alike to work with such an innovative brand.

Industry-leading partners such as Fitness First, Nuffield Health, Bannatyne Spas, DW Sports, Steiner the Onboard Spa, CIKLUM, ClearVision and TeachTech are all working with The Training Room to access free, qualified talent who are trained to their exact standards saving them time and money with recruitment agents.

Piers Marmion (left), couldn’t be more supportive of The Training Room: "We are proud to be supporting such a forward-thinking business that plays an important role in society. The business delivers effective, relevant education to thousands of students aspiring to work while also offering UK employers talent specifically qualified to meet their employment needs."
