Portsmouth: NRPG to address key city conference
National Regional Property Group’s CEO will take centre stage at a conference in Portsmouth this September. Shaun Adams is one of the key speakers at Portsmouth Development Plans 2017, a conference aimed at updating businesses on development and regeneration in the city.
He will talk about National Regional Property Group’s developments in the region and give his expertise on how regeneration can unlock the potential of cities. Other business leaders joining Shaun on stage at the event include:
- Claire Upton-Brown, city development manager at Portsmouth City Council
- Graham Galbraith, vice-chancellor at University of Portsmouth
- Peter Tisdale, managing director of THAT Group
Adams said: “While we’ve recently made our move onto the national stage, Portsmouth is very much a city close to our hearts. As a business that’s been based in the city since our inception, we’re passionate about Portsmouth and all it has to offer. I’m very much looking forward to speaking at the conference and working with local businesses to discuss how we can adapt the built environment to improve the city even further.”
Phil Laycock, director of Built Environment Networking, which is organising the event, added: “Portsmouth and Hampshire is buzzing and for several years now the attractiveness of the South coast has not only been a draw for tourists but now it is a key area for business. The inward investment in Portsmouth is significant and we’re delighted to have secured a panel that represents a significant part of the development and regeneration that is underway in the city.
“We know Shaun and the other key speakers will provide a real insight into these topics and spark a lively debate.”
