Reading technology recruitment consultancy Austin Fraser has come third in the Sunday Times 2017 list of Best Small Companies to Work For. This is the fifth year in a row that the rapidly growing business has appeared on the list and is its highest placing on the list.
Austin Fraser, who are soon to move to the new Thames Tower development opposite Reading Station, scored well in all areas of the survey: 94% of staff love their job and wouldn't want to work anywhere else. The business offers plenty of opportunities for learning and development, one of the scores where Austin Fraser came top of all the small companies. And it's a fun environment - 95% of staff have fun at work.
CEO Pete Hart said: "Creating a place that people want to work is incredibly important to us. When our people are happy, they're able to deliver an awesome service to employers and candidates alike. We're proud to have come third in the Best Small Companies Awards."
CDO Derek Simpson added. "This award is all about our people - they work hard, and love what they do. We're a local Reading business and proud of the opportunities we create for our people to grow and develop. We're expanding overseas in Germany and the US, and we're excited about the future here at Austin Fraser. We know that investing in our people is the foundation we need to be able to grow and provide outstanding customer service."
