Reading: Moat House hotel put on market by operator QMH UK
The Reading Moat House at Sindlesham, which trades as a Best Western Plus hotel, has been put up for sale. The 129-bed hotel, which has a fitness centre and five conference rooms, is one of 11 hotels put on the market with a total value of some £150 million.
The operator QMH UK is marketing the properties through Christie & Co. They include hotels in Nottingham, Doncaster, Plymouth and Luton. Once sold, QMH will be left with just four hotels across the country.
Jeremy Hill of Christie & Co said: “A portfolio of this standing presents an unmissable opportunity to acquire a high-quality, well-invested nationwide group of hotels with a profitable trading profile and a leading management team in place. It is a particularly attractive proposition given the growing momentum in the regional hotel marketplace.”
