Ringwood: McKenna Townsend boosts design team with new hire
Full-service marketing and PR agency McKenna Townsend is expanding its design studio team with another new appointment. Emma Welch joins the Ringwood-based team as an experienced graphic designer and will provide client support across the agency’s consumer, business-to-business and corporate clients.
With over 20 years' experience as a creative artworker and graphic designer, Welch has created and implemented campaigns for a number of leading brands, including PepsiCo, Spar, Cole and Mason, Booker, Block Eyewear, NHS Logistics and Naomi House. More recently, she has worked in-house at Karndean Designflooring within its international marketing team producing a whole host of print, digital, large format and packaging projects.
As such, she brings with her a wealth of experience to the already-strong McKenna Townsend design studio, which offers an array of production and creative services for clients across both traditional and new media.
She said: “I’m delighted to be joining an award-winning marketing and PR agency at a time when the business is growing so quickly. With a number of recent new client wins, it’s an exciting time to join the team and I look forward to contributing to the success of the business through delivering high-quality design and print requirements for a wide range of clients.”
Managing director Matt McKenna added: “We are really pleased to welcome Emma to our busy team. Her appointment further strengthens our creative design and print expertise and bolsters our design studio offering to both new and existing clients. The appointment marks yet another sign of expansion for the agency – we hope to see even stronger growth in 2015.”
McKenna Townsend works with a number of international, national and regional clients including the SUBWAY brand, Condor Ferries, MDL Marinas, Care South, Steele Raymond and the National Marine Aquarium.
