Salisbury: Regus unveils new city workspace to businesses
Salisbury professionals took the opportunity to check out the city’s newest flexible working space as workspace provider Regus held an open day at its Cross Keys House hub. A steady flow of visitors took the time to visit and to learn at first-hand how the space is geared towards enabling businesses to work flexibly, cost-effectively and productively.
Local caterers Forkingout provided some eye-catching Regus-branded cupcakes and each visitor left with a goody-bag consisting of a brochure, vouchers, chocolates and other merchandise.
The Regus space was officially opened in March by City of Salisbury mayor Derek Brown. Salisbury joins the Regus network of over 300 flexible workspaces in the UK and demand for this type of working environment continues to grow.
At the time of opening the Cross Keys House space, Richard Morris, UK CEO, Regus, commented: “The demand for permanent, fixed contract office space is dwindling fast. Instead businesses want space that they can occupy on an as-needed basis, and that can be grown with their business.
“Our Salisbury hub allows professionals in the area to work closer to home, to avoid the expense and cost of commuting, and to focus on core tasks without the headache of office administration. It’s a bright, modern space that professionals will enjoy working out of and it seems to have caught the imagination of businesses already.”
