Slough: Expanding Jumpstart acquires offices and creates eight senior roles

Jumpstart, the UK’s leading specialist in R&D tax relief, has invested in new office premises in Slough and created eight new senior-level roles as part of its ongoing expansion across the UK. 

The new office will service the firm’s growing client portfolio in the South East with a team of expert science and technology analysts and client engagement managers, led by sales and marketing director Mike Dean.  

Jumpstart employs over 50 full-time staff across the UK. It has created a variety of new senior-level roles in recent months, including a director of sales and marketing, two new regional directors and five additional client engagement managers.

Antony Beak, Jumpstart’s client engagement manager for the South East who will be based in the Slough office, said: “In recent years we have seen a surge in uptake of the Government’s R&D Tax Relief Scheme from companies in the South East, which accounted for 17.9% of total volume of claims and 18.5% of the total value of tax relief claimed last year.”  

Since its inception, Jumpstart has helped its clients recover almost £80 million in R&D tax relief and has identified over £404m in eligible R&D expenditure.
