Solent: LSH surveyor joins Southampton Property Association committee
Alexandra Page of Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has been elected to the committee of the Southampton Property Association (SPA).
A surveyor in the industrial agency team at LSH's Southampton office, Page joins the 19-strong SPA committee which oversees the running of the organisation, arranges networking events and promotes Southampton’s buoyant property sector further afield.
The committee comprises a range of different parties operating across Southampton’s property industry, including solicitors, journalists, agents, architects and investors.
SPA, which was founded in 1948, was originally established to ensure reputable practices were adhered to predominantly in the residential sector. However, in the past 15 years, the association has become more centred on commercial agency and now includes a substantial commercial property database which all members can use.
Commenting on her appointment, Page said: “I’m looking forward to getting involved, having a say on the events and functions the SPA organises, and generally raising awareness of the SPA on the South Coast."
Page is part of LSH’s Southampton office which enjoyed another successful year in 2015. In EGI’s (Estates Gazette’s online service) annual agency rankings, the firm's Southampton and Fareham offices worked together to once again be named the most active commercial property agent in Hampshire for a remarkable ninth year in a row.
