South: Chambers UK ranks Bond Dickinson in top 10 firms
Law firm Bond Dickinson has achieved a ranking in 77 sections across the 2014 UK Chambers guide, published today.
This places the firm at number six out of all firms in the guide, with 40 of the 77 rankings awarded a band one status.
Bond Dickinson also features in seven ‘National Leaders (outside London)’ sections this year, which puts it in the top three firms overall for national capability outside the capital.
The firm was particularly recognised for its real estate expertise, achieving five band one rankings in the chapter for Real Estate work – the most of any firm listed in the chapter.
The creation of Bond Dickinson through the merger of Bond Pearce and Dickinson Dees in May of this year has strengthened the firm’s position in Chambers UK, with the merged firm achieving 11 more rankings than the combined legacy firm rankings for the previous year.
Published annually in October, Chambers UK ranks both lawyers and law firms based on the research of 140 full-time editors and researchers, information submitted by law firms and in-depth face-to-face and telephone interviews.
Bond Dickinson’s success in the Chambers guide follows its recent wins in the Legal 500 UK Awards, with the firm named as the highest-performing law firm in two categories: Private Client – firm (regional) and Transport – firm (regional).
Real estate, private wealth and transport are just three of Bond Dickinson’s seven key sector specialisms, which also include chemicals and manufacturing, energy and natural resources, financial institutions and retail.
