Southampton: Grosvenor House comes to market after refurbishment
Bournemouth-based investor Ameriscot Commercial has completed the comprehensive refurbishment of Grosvenor House, 2 Grosvenor Square in the heart of Southampton. Savills, jointly with Vail Williams, has been appointed to market the building.
The offices – which feature new air-conditioning, LED lighting, new toilet facilities and a new, high-quality reception area – total 29,621 sq ft, available on a floor by floor basis or as half floors. There are 34 onsite parking spaces. Grosvenor House is located on Grosvenor Square close to restaurants in Guildhall, retail at West Quay, and Southampton’s rail and bus stations.
Bill Parker of Ameriscot Commercial commented: “Refurbishing large office buildings is our forte and Grosvenor House has been completed using high quality finishes to provide what we believe to be the best space currently available in the city.”
Martin Hastelow, director in the business space team and head of Savills Southampton, added: “We are delighted to have been appointed to market the newly refurbished Grosvenor House. The quality and flexibility of the space, alongside its unique and prominent location in the heart of Southampton’s business district, make it the most attractive office refurbishment in the city which will appeal to a wide range of businesses.”
