A Hedge End SME is gearing up for expansion as it acquires new premises on the Berrywood Business Village. The Royal Bank of Scotland provided a six-figure funding package to allow an extensive refurbishment to take place for eDigitalResearch, which has helped to complete the move for the company's 150 employees.

eDigitalResearch has relocated from Vanborough House back to Berrywood Business Village where the business began in 1999. The additional space at the new premises is providing the capacity to expand the workforce and a recruitment drive is already underway to fill current vacancies for research and technical roles.

An extensive refurbishment programme has taken place to bring the 18,472 sq ft of working space in line with a professional, modern look and feel that fully reflects the company’s image. An open plan office features with relaxation spaces and 10 meeting rooms to accommodate internal and external meetings as well as plenty of parking available for staff.

Established by joint executive chair Chris Russell and Michelle Fuller, eDigitalResearch works with a variety of blue chip clients operating across a range of industries, including: travel, telecommunications, retail, finance and hospitality. The team at eDigitalResearch works closely to deliver cutting-edge Voice of the Customer programmes which provide the data and insight to help businesses improve their customer experience and enhance the future of these businesses.

Russell explained: “We recognised a niche in the market for our services and over the past 16 years we have evolved alongside technology and seen a 15% increase in our sales per annum.

“We are currently achieving a turnover of over £10 million and confidently predicting this will rise further as we increase our headcount and clients. Thanks to the support of The Royal Bank of Scotland we have achieved our goal of operating from larger premises in a professional environment with the capacity to grow the business even further.”

Grant Paramor, relationship director at The Royal Bank of Scotland, added: “eDigitalResearch is a huge success story locally and we are delighted to be able to support them in their expansion. We wish the team well and have no doubt they will achieve even greater success at their new location.”
