Southampton: Vail Williams boosts team to meet demand and business growth in Solent region
Vail Williams’ team of commercial property experts in Southampton has been strengthened to meet increasing demand and powerful business growth.
Vail Williams’ move provides more evidence of the continued upswing in the property sector in the Solent region and the UK economy more widely.
A new recruit joining Vail Williams’ Southampton office is associate Marie Newman, who brings with her 20 years’ knowledge and experience of valuing commercial property, residential land and investments.
Newman comes from CBRE where she was associate director. She knows the Solent area well, having moved to the south coast in the mid-1990s.
In addition, Vail Williams’ Southampton office has also made a series of promotions. Ben Christian becomes planner, while Mike Greenwood (Valuation) and Russell Miller (Law of Property Act Receivership) both move up to partner.
The appointment and promotions are among a clutch of changes at senior and junior levels boosting Vail Williams’ offices in Guildford, Crawley, Reading, Southampton and London.
Vail Williams partner Martin Tice said: “Congratulations to our new arrival and well-deserved promotions. Our focus on skills and expertise is helping us to continue to grow, develop and provide an even stronger and diverse service for clients.
“It’s evidence of our growth around the country and how we are building that capability on each office’s deep local knowledge and expertise. We are now even better equipped to call on expertise for every situation wherever it is.
“As activity in the property sector continues to accelerate, we’re ready with our own expansion to meet that challenge.”
A total of 17 recruits, promotions and transfers across Vail Williams have boosted the company’s capability to support clients. Key growth areas for the business include town planning, building consultancy, valuation, lease advisory and property asset management.
