A thriving West Oxfordshire business community has been heralded as one of the reasons behind a wealth management firm’s decision to open a new office at Witney Business & Innovation Centre in the district’s flagship town.
Courtiers opened its first office in Henley over 30 years ago and now has four offices located across the UK, from Brent Knoll in Somerset to Melbourne in Derbyshire.
The firm is committed to helping private and corporate clients make the most of their wealth, whether that’s helping individuals and families achieve financial goals and objectives, or advising on and providing effective employee benefit services or advising board trustees.
Jamie Shepperd, CEO, Courtiers, said: “We work closely with clients and remove the headaches associated with a changing and heavily regulated financial world. The overall aim is to maximise the wealth they created. We are looking forward to helping more people in West Oxfordshire to do exactly that with the opening of our Witney office.”
Managed by Oxford Innovation, Witney BIC is owned by Blenheim Palace and provides a selection of office space solutions for 1 to 30 people. Courtiers has taken a 389 sq ft office, currently occupied by four employees.
Shepperd added: “The team at Witney BIC has been extremely accommodating and have made setting-up a new office very easy, ensuring we maintain all of our focus on our clients. The flexible licence agreement offered by the centre will enable us to take more space as needed to accommodate our growing team.”
Courtiers are currently recruiting for a Senior Paraplanner at the Witney office along with other technical and administration support roles.
Alli Anderson, centre manager at Witney BIC, said: “Through our continued sponsorship of the West Oxfordshire Business Awards, we are very aware that our district is home to a number of successful individuals and businesses who I am sure can benefit from the support offered by Courtiers. We will look to help the team in every way we can from greeting their clients through to providing meeting rooms and additional office space as they look to grow.”
