Thames Valley: Henley Business Angels launches to support entrepreneurship
The Henley Business School (HBS) at the University of Reading (UoR) has announced the launch of Henley Business Angels (HBA). This is a network of UoR and HBS alumni and other invited business leaders and investors whose purpose is to help build the Henley Centre for Entrepreneurship (HCfE) at the HBS as a centre of entrepreneurial excellence.
The network will also support new business ventures launched by entrepreneurs who are graduates of, or are connected to, the UoR by providing equity funding and mentorship.
If you are an entrepreneur raising finance or planning to raise finance and are a graduate of or connected to the UoR or HBS, and based in the Thames Valley, then you might wish to apply for funding. Successful applicants will be offered the opportunity to present to HBA members at their regular evening meeting.
On the other hand if you are a successful business leader or recently-exited entrepreneur or self-certified investor and would like to become a Henley Business Angel then you could become a member of HBA.

- invitation to a full programme of events held at the HBS throughout the year

- access to up-to-date research material from the School's faculty, relevant to the entrepreneurial activity as well as to the School’s extensive library resources (subject to license agreements with resource providers).
