Thames Valley: Wye Partnership merges with Wynyard Wright and Ellis
Wye Partnership has merged with Wynyard Wright and Ellis to form the group now known as The Wye Partnership, which incorporates the Wye Residential and Wye Country brands.
Explaining the thinking behind the merger, Garry Almrott, managing partner of WYE, said: “Both companies aimed to build and expand a geographical presence across South Bucks and the Chilterns so a merger made compelling sense, particularly as we complemented one another perfectly – one having a residential focus, the other concentrating on country.”
The new company has offices in High Wycombe, Hazelmere, Prestwood, Great Missenden and Naphill.
Wilson Partners Corporate Finance was lead adviser to The Wye Partnership.
Almrott said: “Wilson Partners really exceeded our expectations, managing many partners’ interests to make the deal happen and giving us clear, professional advice throughout.”
Adam Wardle, director of Wilson Partners, which tends to work with shareholders and entrepreneurial management teams of owner-managed businesses, commented: “This was one of those deals where you could see the obvious synergies: complementary skill sets and above all a desire by all parties to create something bigger, more dynamic.”
