Whiteley: Onecom signs £1.7m partner agreement with CityFibre
Leading communications provider Onecom has signed a £1.7 million agreement to provide business Internet services through a brand new high-speed broadband network in Essex.Hampshire-based Onecom has signed a commercial launch partner agreement with CityFibre, a leading designer, builder, owner and operator of fibre optic infrastructure in the UK.
The agreement makes Onecom one of the key Internet service provider partners for CityFibre’s Southend-on-Sea network, which is currently under construction.
Onecom has committed to connecting a minimum of 150 business customer connections across the new network.
It is a significant agreement for Onecom, Vodafone UK’s biggest partner for business mobile connections, as it underlines the company’s strength in unified communications – bringing fixed line and mobile voice, data and Internet services together in one package.
