Woking: International consultancy chooses St Andrew's House for new HQ, says LSH
Acting for Vantage Asset Management, Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) and joint agent Wadham & Isherwood have successfully let the newly-refurbished second floor of St Andrews House in Woking to an international engineering consultancy company for its new headquarters.
This is a significant letting for the Woking market, said a spokesperson from LSH, bringing a new occupier into the town. In a transaction that was completed within tight timescales, the company has signed a new 10-year lease for the whole second floor totalling 11,841 sq ft at a rent of £18 per sq ft.
The landlord, advised by Vantage Asset Management, has only just completed the refurbishment of the accommodation and the company will take occupation in November 2014. Hurst Warne acted for the tenant.
Tim Shaw, associate director at LSH’s Guildford office, said: “The company was attracted to St Andrews House due to its prime town centre location, efficient floor plate and the quality of the accommodation. Being able to secure a new occupier so soon after completion of the refurbishment works is a great result. With limited quality availability in Woking town centre, there is also strong interest in the remaining ground floor suite of 4,320 sq ft.”
