Woking: Two qualify as attorneys at trade mark firm Alexander Ramage Associates
Having passed their final professional exams, Clare Grimley and Joel McDonald are now qualified trade mark attorneys at Alexander Ramage Associates.
Their success at completing the professional certificate in trade mark practice course from Nottingham Law School enables them to be entered on the register of UK Trade Mark Attorneys and become accredited as a European Trade Mark Attorneys.
Both had previously studied at the Guildford College of Law where they obtained postgraduate diplomas in legal practice.
They joined Woking-based Alexander Ramage Associates as paralegal assistants to senior partner Eric Ramage, with Grimley having a bachelor of law degree from Surrey University and McDonald having one from Keele University.
"We are delighted for Clare and Joel, and to have another two fully-qualified attorneys on the team," said Ramage. "Becoming European trade mark attorneys enables them to practise before the Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market, which regulates the protection of trade marks and design rights throughout the European Union."
