Abingdon: Crossland strengthens team with two appointments
Abingdon-based law firm Crossland Employment Solicitors has marked the start of autumn with two key promotions within its employment team.
Based on Milton Park, the employment law specialist has promoted Maria Hoeritzauer to senior associate and Owen Dear to associate from senior solicitor.
Qualified since 2007, Hoeritzauer worked in private practice in top-tier law firms in London and the Thames Valley region before joining Crossland Employment Solicitors in 2012.
Her clients range from senior executives to start-ups, local businesses and multinationals to publicly listed companies. She advises on a range of HR and employment-related matters including executive service agreements, disciplinary and grievance issues, board level disputes, performance management and discrimination.
Dear joined Crossland in 2013 having qualified in 2008 and worked in Cardiff, London and Oxfordshire. He advises on all aspects of employment law and particularly enjoys working with clients on major projects such as gender pay gap reporting, equal pay, national minimum wage and data protection.
Beverley Sunderland, managing director, Crossland Employment Solicitors, said: “Maria and Owen are great assets to the team. Their promotions reflect all of their achievements since joining us and contributions to the business.
“We’re already experiencing a very busy autumn period and Maria and Owen, along with the team, will ensure we continue to give our clients the best practical advice and service.”
