Camberley: SEGRO letting is largest in Blackwater Valley corridor in past year
SEGRO has leased 38,946 sq ft on a 10-year lease to Biocompatibles at Watchmoor Park in Camberley, making this the largest letting in the Blackwater Valley corridor for 12 months.
Biocompatibles UK, a BTG International Group company, is a leader in medical technology and operates in the field of interventional oncology using embolic and drug-device combination products. The company is moving into Lakeview which is a two-storey headquarters office building totalling 56,470 sq ft, located in the established parkland environment of Watchmoor Park, close to the town centre amenities of Camberley and with easy access to the M3, M4 and M25.
SEGRO speculatively refurbished the building to Grade A specification and this deal with Biocompatibles means that Lakeview is now 70% occupied.
Kate Dean, customer development director for SEGRO, said: “The majority of lettings this year in both the Blackwater and Thames Valley corridors have been done on standing stock; by having previously speculatively refurbished Lakeview, we were able to react quickly to Biocompatibles’ requirements. The Blackwater Valley corridor is a great location for businesses as it is well served by an excellent communications and transport infrastructure. We are delighted to be welcoming Biocompatibles to Watchmoor Park.”
